Program Overview

The Global Initiative for Chronic Obstructive Lung Disease (GOLD) report is an internationally implemented tool established to provide guidance for the effective management of COPD. Based on the latest scientific data, the GOLD report is revised annually by a global network of distinguished health professionals. This 4-part CME Snapshot™ Webcast series will not only provide an overview of changes in the 2023 GOLD Report but dive deeper into particular focus areas of practice and share the latest evidence supporting recent updates as well as how these updates will affect today’s practice. Focus areas of practice include, but are not limited to, patient and disease evaluation, selection of initial and follow-up maintenance therapies, and objective assessment of exacerbations.

Target Audience

The educational design of this activity addresses the needs of primary care providers (PCPs), including physicians, nurse practitioners, and physician assistants who manage patients with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD).
